Due to time constraints, I’m no longer updating this page.  To check the latest selling prices on eBay, put in a search for your item, then go to ‘advanced’ just to the right of the search box.  Once on the advanced page, go down to the ‘search including’ section and check the ‘completed listings’ box, and search again.  Here you’ll find completed listings with the sold price, or the asking price that did not sell.

Welcome to the Sony/Minolta AF lens price guide page.  This page will contain (primarily) current eBay final selling prices for A mount lenses, plus legitimate Internet dealers too, like B&H photo and Adorama.  I’m going to list all Sony lenses, because they’re all available at some point on eBay, most Konica Minolta branded lenses, of which most show up weekly; plus the most popular Minolta branded lenses.  I’m not listing every single Minolta lens, simply because there are so many, and I only have so much time.

My plan is to update the current selling prices about four times a year, I think that should be plenty.  The range will be based on the prices the lenses have sold for in good to excellent/new condition, no “parts lenses” or “damaged but ok” type stuff.Some dealers are selling Sony lenses for more than MSRP, even on eBay.  There is no reason to pay more than full retail unless that particular lens is on factory back-order and you “just gotta have it now.”  One last item of interest; the “new” versions (or RS) of Minolta lenses will normally go for more than the older versions in the same condition, and lenses with the box and all original contents in “like new condition” may sell for substantially more than the same lenses listed without those items.

Lens description.  Manufacturer and lens name.Current Product?  Is this lens currently available from the manufacturer?MSRP.  Manufacturers suggested retail price.Selling price.  The current price from eBay or legitimate Internet store.Trend.  Is the price down, steady or up from the last update.Frequency.  How often does the lens come up for sale?  Often, meaning it’s usually available several times a month;occasionally, meaning it’s available once or twice a month; or rarely, meaning it only comes up maybe once a month or less.  The frequency column will usually denote “used” lenses.?  This question mark indicates incomplete data, it’ll be replaced when I have solid information for that box.UNK.  Unknown.  This means I don’t know, and probably won’t ever know.CZ.  Denotes Carl Zeiss lenses.
