This chart is from the old site, and won’t display well with photojottings.
Please note; the specifications given here are probably more accurate than the official manufacturers website. Most of the discrepancies involve aperture, weight and dimensions, not a big deal. On the lenses I have, I’ve been able to corroborate my information below-which may be different from the manufacturer.
Note on MSRP’s. I’ve listed the MSRP prices for when the lens was introduced. I think it’s more fun to know what the lens was offered at years ago. Go to the review for current prices.
For full specifications, go to the review if available.
Full frame lenses directly below, APS-C immediately following. I believe I’ve listed all lenses that fit the Sony E, and FE systems; that is, with the correct mount. You can mount almost any brand lens on these cameras without it having the correct mount; meaning Canon, Nikon, Pentax lenses etc, however, you must use an adapter, and so far, performance results are mixed, and adapter quality varies.
Remember; all ‘a’ mount lenses work properly on the ‘E’ mount, you just need an adapter, either the Sony LA-EA4 which supports auto focus, and the LA-EA3, which is manual focus only.
